ASK

Create a research proposal. You will have 30 minutes to present it to the team as part of your interview.

PROBLEM STATEMENT

AMC (American Multi-Cinema) Theaters has noticed a dip in popcorn sales. They have received complaints from customers about the self-service popcorn butter station. While customers like buttering their own popcorn, it's hard to manage with soda and candy, and it's messy. AMC would like to boost popcorn sales by 5% this year.

GUIDELINES

Prepare a presentation that includes a hypothesis, measures of success, primary research questions to be answered, and an overview of the tasks/activities you would propose. Assume your AMC stakeholder audience does not understand what these tasks/activities are or what value they add to their end of year goal.
